So if you have been following this blog lately

Which I assume you have been....stalker....

Then you may notice that I have been all about revisiting my Myspace profile.

Well I found this survey that I did FOUR YEARS AGO, which really weirds me out that I can say that, it makes me feel old its strange.

Anywho, I thought it would but fun to re-do this survey five years later and see how much has changed.

And naturally, I am sharing it with you guys.

Thanksgiving is Better in St. Louis

So I know that I already posted this picture but I just think it is SO damn funny!

So I had to use it again.

Anywho.

I wanted to post a picture account of how my Thanksgiving Holiday turned out.

When I woke up, I had two stow-aways in bed with me!

After that I did Block Party Bash, blah blah blah, it was awful blah blah.

Then I came home and set the table. Isn't it pretty?

Then I made a cheese plate.

Sarah & Barret held hands and made me want to vomit, in a cute I'm super jealous way.

So I drank my sorrows with Moscato-Spumante Champagne.

Not really, but kinda.

Whoops, there's proof. How did that get in there?!

Cirque Du Solerin was concentrating on something. I'm not sure what.

Then Peter said something and she made this face.

Evie was exhausted before we even began dessert.

Milo, the Kitty with No Name, was busy avoiding everyone.

Then, while we were busy taking pictures of the cat, Evie struck and stole some stuffing from my plate.

Then she felt super awkward cause I caught her. Whoops, not so smooth Evie.

To conclude the night, the lucky cats used the cork from the champagne to have a dinner of their own.

It was holiday joy had by all.

Then Sarah, Cirque Du Solerin and I sat down and watched this while we drifted off to sleep.

I love this movie.

I thought so.

Anywho, this may be super trite and boring to you but it seems to be a blogging tradition on THANKSgiving to make a list of the things that we are THANKful for.

I know, I know, it has been done, but I think it is always good to show gratitude for the things you have because it puts you in the mindset to receive more blessings.

And who doesn't want blessings?

Idiots, that's who.

So do you wanna be an idiot?

Didn't think so.

So after you read my list I want you to make a list of your own and post it as a comment.

"Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance."

So here is mine:

1. I'm thankful for all of the spirits that touch my life everyday, from my family (even though they all are having a party on the other side of the country without me! geeze guys), my friends, my co-workers and my little dog Evie.
2. Im thankful for my Macbook, which includes the internet, blogging, Photoshop, Illustrator, Garage Band, Final Cut and iTunes.
3. I'm thankful for music because it is my drug of choice (along with crack (which as you know is wack))
4. I'm thankful for my job, because even though it involves destroying my body at a young age, working inhumane hours on holidays that everyone else has off, and being forced to high five dirty, swine-flu ridden children, I still love it.
5. I'm thankful that my 1994 Honda Accord is still running, even though the engine shuts off every time I come to a stop light.
6. I'm thankful to Lady Gaga for founding a religion I can finally commit to
7. I'm thankful for P.I. Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker (Complete Ballet Score) for providing the soundtrack to this post.
8. I'm thankful that I live on the third floor because, even though it sucks when I have 37 bags of groceries, I feel like I live in a tree house so it's worth it.
9. I'm thankful for books because there are so many I will never run out of stories to read and they look pretty on my bookshelf.
10. And finally I am thankful to you for reading this blog. I put so much time and energy into it and the only reason I do it is for you.

So thank you.

Teenage Angst...

This is a picture of me in High School.

Not High School Musical but actual high school.

Today is my off day from work so, naturally, it is my day to catch up on my blogging. So I was surfing the net like a usually do and I thought:

"I haven't been to my myspace in ages. I should go check it out."

My main motivation in signing back into the relic know as my Myspace profile was to read old blog I had written when it was cool to blog (or do anything for that matter) on your Myspace Profile.

I first was distracted by the multitude of pictures on my profile, which I've decided that's the only reason I haven't erased my profile yet, because there are some really sick pictures on there and I am too lazy to save all of them to my computer. Then I turned my attention to the blog area of my profile.

I was very surprised to see that I was a very angsty teenager!

When I think about my teenage years I don't really recall being as emotional and full of inner torment as my blog conveys.

But from the looks of it I was.

It seems that I was really lonely. Which I now that I think of it, I guess I kinda was.

Anywho, I wanted to share a poem that I had written on Friday, March 10, 2006.

4. People being deliberately rude
5. My dirty room and no enthusiasm to clean it
6. Turning my cell phone off at a doctor's office
7. Not being able to eat 4 hours before a CT Scan
8. Country Music (except you Taylor Swift, you're ok)
9. My car being just as dirty as my room and the same enthusiasm problem as before
10. The fact that my ti-83 calculator doesn't have a backlight so I can't freaking see the screen at night!

That's what I'm loving/hating lately.
